Last day of year 2011!
I dressed up and went to Lipa with my brother. We had lunch at Shakeys! OMG mojos! Haha!
Then SM Lipa to buy some stuffs. I ordered a new pair of eyeglasses. Good thing I really didn't had it done in SG because its so expensive! I saved half of my original eyeglasses budget! Hihihi... My brother was just following me, he's like my body guard and driver! Haha! We were supposed to do groceries but then the supermarket is jampacked! WTF.
Plan B, go to WalterMart. There we bought the things that we need for the night's celebration! ^^ I texted friend to go to WalterMart after her work, and so she did! Dali kausap haha! Brother drove us to the street, our group's street. Haha! I found my friends loafing around the street. Joke! Haha, they were watching this relay being played by a group of kids and grown ups.
Me and friend walked to the nearest groceries store to grab some more stuffs that I need for the night. After that I've decided to see crush! I was telling myself that I shouldn't bother him at work because ill be seeing him tonight on our New Year's After Party. BUT THEN, of course I can't help myself and so we walked to the hospital where he works. I saw him at the lab watching some videos on the computer. He asked us to go inside and join him. He wants to show me the video of their Christmas presentation but then I refused! My nurse friend who works on the same hospital told me about crush's kissing scene during their performance! Like WTF!? Super landi! Tsk.... Moving on, we were asking him to come with us to check out the public market for some fireworks and firecrackers. He wants to got out of work already but he can't escape! He said he would try to go out and so he handed me his bag and asked us to go ahead and he'll sneak out and follow us. We were waiting for him outside bu then he asked for his bag and said that he can't go yet. Okaaaaay... Me and friend failed to check out the market coz we saw from afar how crowded the place is.
I was already hungry that time and so we went to the ihaw-ihaw and had some barbecue, isaw, dugo and binubong. After that, friend asked me to go with her to the salon to fix her bangs. On our way back to "our street" we walked to this side which used to be a big grocery and department store. Well, it got burned few years ago and so they demolished the site. We took photos and then walked back to crush's coz he's gonna be out in a few minutes. Sinundo? Haha. He saw friend's photo on the demolished site and he also wanted a photo there. He's on his bike and the two of us were walking. Of course he's such a gentleman and he pedal his way home faster than our walk. Nang-iwan. Salbahe!
Most of our friends were outside the street and then we all walked together to buy fireworks and firecrackers at the public market. I was the one who bought this dragon firework for our group! Yeah! Ako taya, as usual... Anyway I really wanted to buy one hehe...
Me and my brother went home and waited for the time to struck at 12. I baked carrot cake and banana cake using my oven! yahoo! I welcomed 2012 at home with my whole family! It's my 3rd time to spend the New Year at home! Coz usually I would welcome the year on my relative or friend's house. Haha! Imagine, it's already 10+ years since we moved in to our house.
and oh, meet our new pet, Thor! See, he likes me LOL!
