Sailormoon and Skater-girl

I don't know where to go on that Sunday. I woke up around 10am but I was still lying down on the bed chatting with the guy that I really like. Ano daw? Haha! Di dapat chinachat yun kaso pasaway mga daliri ko. Toinks! Hahaha!

I got a message earlier from friend asking for a good place to loaf around on a Sunday. I told her that it was also my problem, and I really wanna go out of the house. In the end we've decided to meet up somewhere in Orchard around 2pm. Haha!

Friend said that she would wear something like Sailormoon bwahahah! Akala ko cosplay pupuntahan chos! Me naman, I wanted to wear my sneakers so ayun naghanap ng maternohan na damit haha!

Meet up at Happy Lemon! Happy nanaman kami haha! Walked outside orchard road and then it rained. Talbot sa pinakamalapit na mall, Takashimaya! ikot ikot, 360 degrees ang dalawang lakwatsera! Haha! Both of us didn't bring an umbrella so while waiting for the rain to stop naisip namin bigla na manood ng movie. Good thing hi-tech phones namin so we were able to check the movie schedules.

We watched IN TIME starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. First movie daw yun ni friend sa SG! Ayun ang ingay namin haha. Picture picture sa mall lalo na sa cinema area hehe.

$1 ice cream on our way to the other mall kahit malamig sa labas. We bought japanese food kasi mukang masarap haha! They don't have spoon or fork, chopsticks lang. Good thing I know how to use chopsticks pero super bitin kasi yung pag subo haha! Naputol pa yung akin, mali pagkahila hehe.
Grabe nakakabitin ang bawat subo gamit ang chopsticks! nagkamay nalang sana me!
May ka-skype pa yan oh! partida! haha!

What a Sunday! hehe! I think I found my partner-in-crime here in SG haha!

kung saan nalang haha

Last Friday we finish school at 2pm since the next day, Saturday is a busy day in school. PTC is it! I'm somewhat nervous because my boss said that some of my parents were very particular. Lol. Bahala na si batman!

That Friday, me and a cousin-on-vacation decided to meet in H&M.. She's here to shop. Ikaw na! Haha! Pero dahil di nya mahanap, naghintayan muna kami sa mall.

It was raining and my umbrella got broken. As in ayaw na mabuka haha. Patila ng ulan before maglakad ulit sa labas. We walked along Orchard Road and there we had ice cream!

Its her 3rd or 4th time here in Singapore and she havent tried the $1 yet. We walked going to Ion Mall to get something to eat. On our way to the food court we saw somebody holding a cup with the HAPPY LEMON logo. I told cousin that I've never tried that drink and most of my friends on facebook and twitter posts photos with their drinks. We hunted down the Happy Lemon booth and I thought they were selling fruit juice or shake. LOL. Coffee and tea pala. Nyok Nyok. I tried the one with oreo and it tasted good! Ang sarap nya infairness! Kaya siguro Madami nang fan. Haha!

Shopping pa din si Ate and this time naghahanap ng chocolate. I brought her to Lucky Plaza. May chocolate shop kasi dun na mura lang. After that naghiwalay na sa MRT.

The next day after my PTC in school, nag meet ulit kami sandali ni cousin. This time I was with a friend / co-teacher. Nag Bugis trip muna kami ni friend kasi busy pa si cousin. So ayun nagkaroon kami ng listahan ng mga babalikan na stuffs sa sweldo time! Bwahaha. Sa Ion Mall ulit pinuntahan si cousin. She was still with her friends when we saw her. Cousin will be meeting her other cousin and so nag Happy Lemon muna ulit kami while waiting for her couz. Ikot saglit and then off they go somewhere. Kami din ni friend kung saan dinala ng aming mga paa hahaha!

From school to Bugis to Orchard to Raffles City ang drama namin last Saturday ni friend. Nag bonding kami haha!

Hahaha! Ayaw na umuwi hehe, mga walang magawa eh no?

si college friend!

a college friend was having her 3 day vacation here in SG with her family. After work we've decided to meet in the hotel where they're staying. I missed talking to her! ^_^ i dont remember anymore when was the last time that we saw each other. We were hanging out on their room while waiting for her Tita who's attending a seminar. We were exchanging stories about our lives and I cant believe how long it has been since we graduated. lol. 2yrs lang naman haha!

Her boyfriend + father + sister was with them on that trip. But they were staying on another place. They were together even before we became classmates in college. So in short matagal na sila. At magkasama pa families nila sa out of the country trip! oh ha! May naaamoy akong kasalan! hahaha!

We had dinner at Makansutra. It was past 2am when I got home. Kamusta naman yung may work ako bukas??? At mahal na taxi rate pag madaling araw??? Haha! Anyway, atleast nagkita kami and nakapag update sa isat isa. Yun ang di matutumbasan ng $$$.

Almost 6 months

It's almost 6 months already since I started working overseas. So kamusta naman ako? Hmmmm... Quits pa nga yang 6 months kasi nakauwi na ako ng pinas ng 2 beses. Tapos this last week of December dadali ulit ako ng weekend trip to the Philippines.
I really can't help it, New Year became my favourite holiday ever since nag color coding ek ek kami ng friends ko pag sasapit ang bagong taon. Christmas became my less favourite holiday mula nang di na ako namamasko haha. Yes, I'm not a kid anymore, so no more gifts pag pasko. At higit sa lahat, ito ang season na dapat magtago kasi di ko na mabilang kung sino sino mga inaanak ko! Bwahahaha! Yari!
So within this 6 months of stay in Singapore, I lost some pounds and some hair! As in may major dilemma ako ngayon! HAIRFALL... They were telling me that the water here in Singapore is not pure, or it's strong that's why it causes hair fall to other people. At bakit kasi ako napasama sa other peeps na yun!? Some hair products here are quite strong also because of the chemicals used. Tongono nomon oh!
The color of the floor on the place where I am staying is white and so I really can see how much hair is falling from my head. But even back in college, my comb would be full of broken hair whenever I comb it. Siguro di ko napapansin masyado kasi the flooring is dark, even in our house.
Or stress ba ito? Due to worrying and sleeping late? Now I really feel like my hair is getting thinner! :(( but whenever I ask my friends if they can see a patch or a space on my scalp sabihin nila wala pa naman. Takte, wala pa, or wala. Haha! Panic ulit! My mom old me to change shampoo and have my hair done. Hot oil and trim daw. Eh salons here in Singapore are so expensive! Pero I want to try out that scalp therapy. Shit yan. What todo!? I don't want to get bald! LOL!
I'm already using a new shampoo, parang ganun pa din, may hair fall pero mukang nabawasan. But still!!! Haaay....

Mella's 1st birthday celebration!

November 13 @ Aloha Resort Loyang

I got lost on my way to the venue! Buti mejo maaga ako umalis ng bahay. Napataxi talaga ako haha! Wagas lang kasi umulan! But still masaya naman celebration. Picture-picture with cousin! Super putol-putol na heart-to-heart moment haha! Hay, mamimis ko nanaman itong bakla na ito pag bumalik ng pinas. :( Buti pa si cousin maganda ang lablayp! Unlike me na f na f ang wala hahaha! Emo / bitter ko lang haha! Si crush kasi... Lol... :))

Shoppingeras in Singapore

Last Wednesday, November 2, my 2 good friends arrived here in Singapore from the Philippines. I was at work when they arrived and so they went to my work area to meet me after closing time.

When I saw them, it felt like "were we just together few days ago?" Haha! It was during my 22nd birthday celebration last September 3 when we last saw each other. And it's already November, time flies so fast.

They were asking me if they can stay in my place the next days because the place where they're supposed to stay was too small for a number of people. Good thing my ate and kuya, the house owners said it's alright for them to stay with me in the room. My "manang" roomate will just sleep in the couch. Hehe. Lucky for those two! :)

We had dinner that night on my favorite kainan ng Chicken Rice!

The next day, they went to shop at the factory outlets on the west side habang nasa work pa ako. Then that evening they rode a taxi from their brother's friend's place going to my place. Kagulat yung trunk ng taxi nung pagbukas ko! Puro paper bags! Ay talaga namang todo shopping ang mga bruha. Hahaha!

We slept around 2am and goodluck sa akin kasi may pasok ako ng 8:30! The next morning, Friday, hinatid nila ako sa work at nakita nila ang ilang cutie babies sa school. 1 minute more and I am late already! Lols. :) Then off they go again to shop. Oh ha! That night we planned on partying on the city night club! I invited 2 of my friends who's also working here in SG. One is my workmate and the other one is actually my brother's friend. 2nd time pa lang kami magmi-meet ni friend na I'm not sure if gay or what. Haha.

I don't know what to wear that night, eh may nabili akong 2 dress the other week. I even asked them to bring my high heels so I have to buy here anymore. :)) in the end, old stuffs sinuot ko at di ako nag heels haha!

We took the taxi going to The Butter Factory at One Fullerton. Its near the Merlion nga! Haha! We paid SG$23 for gals and SG$28 for guys, each inclusive of 2 drinks.

First ever night out sa Singapore, out of the country na! Party party! :D Super fun and sulit. Daming pogi, kaso wagas kumendeng, alam na! Tsk...

Sumuko kami around quarter to 4am. Nakatulog naman kami at bandang 11am nagising. We're not yet sure kung saan ang lakad namin that day kasi late na din nagising. Pero what I'm sure of is that I'll be getting that White Fossil Watch sa ION Mall. :D


Meet up with the Ate to give her the padala. She treated us at Carl's Jr.! Wagas yung burger and unlimited drink!

Mustafa at night. Shopping sila ng chocolate na pasalubong! Super bilia ng oras, balik na sila sa pinas the next day... :((

The next day, their last day in SG, namili sila ng mga natitira pang bilin. Good thing my place is near the malls here in Tampines and most of the stores that the city has, eh meron din dito sa lugar ko haha. We had Chicken Curry Rice at Toast Box. Then went back home to fix heir stuffs.

Happy Halloween!

November 1, 2011

My first time to miss out the All Souls Day and All Saints Day. Usually there's no classes on those dates. But here in Singapore di uso yun. They celebrate these days during August (not sure) and they call it GHOST MONTH.

Singaporeans are not fond of celebrating Halloween. Corny!

That night, I was browsing the internet, facebook-ing and what-nots. My friend was trying to call me using facebook video chat. Well bulok ang computer ko mga friends and so I just told friend to go to skype. Another friend of mine sent me a message telling me that our guy friends were together and they video called her to scare her! haha! So in short, my friends would try to trick me also haha! I was laughing out loud when my guys friends' video started! They were all wearing this white paint on their faces with lipsticks and other make-ups! BWAHAHAHA!

I was feeling "loser" that day because it was the first time that I wasn't able to visit my relatives in the cemetery. And then after seeing my friends online, the sad feelings all went out except for the "inggit" kasi gusto ko din makisali sa trip nila haha! I miss all my friends in the Philippines!
